Geri Halliwell was an English pop singer, songwriter, clothes designer actress and author. Her name was a global phenomenon during the 90s in the 1990s as Ginger Spice a member of the group known as the Spice Girls which became the best-selling girl group of the past. Multi-faceted, she's performed as a nightclub performer, TV host as well as a glamour model. In her early years, she joined the girl group Spice Girls and signed with Virgin Records. Taft's love for sports began at the age of a child, having been born into a sporting family. She also competed at various levels throughout her college and school but decided that she wanted to be broadcaster. Taft's broadcasting career started with Fox Sports North in the job of a sideline reporter and regional affiliate when she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. She also covered sports, worked on social media and was host for numerous events. Then being promoted, she became part of Fox Sports 1, the News and Highlights Team. As part of FS1 Taft covered many reputed championships as well as reporting them in the air. While working as a reporter on the sidelines of college football, she was elevated to be the primary college football reporter along with Gus Johnson.
